Auto-Yield on Buy (1–3%)

Auto-Yield lets you automatically set aside a small slice of every XPGN purchase and stake it into Pool PID-0 (the single-token XPGN pool). It’s a simple way to build a growing XPGN position.

What it does (in plain English)

  • When you buy XPGN on Paragon Swap and toggle Auto-Yield, 1–3% of the XPGN you just bought is instantly staked into PID-0 under your wallet.

  • The remaining 97–99% goes to your wallet as normal.

  • Rewards auto-compound inside PID-0. You can unstake anytime from Farms → PID-0 and receive XPGN back.

Important: Auto-Yield stakes to PID-0 only (single-asset XPGN). It does not deposit into the stXPGN governance wrapper.

Why people use it

  • Hands-off saving: Grow a long-term XPGN stake each time you buy.

  • No IL risk: PID-0 is a single-asset pool (not an LP), so there’s no impermanent loss from pairing tokens.

  • Auto-compounding: Your PID-0 rewards compound over time inside the pool.

  • Unstake anytime: You remain in control; you can exit from the Farms page whenever you like.

How it shows up in the app

  • On the Swap page (when output token is XPGN), toggle Auto-Yield and pick 1% / 2% / 3%.

  • After the swap, you’ll see a confirmation like: “Auto-staked 20.00 XPGN into Pool 0 (PID-0). View in Farms → PID-0.”

  • Your PID-0 position is visible in Farms → PID-0, under your wallet.

What you receive

  • In your wallet: 97–99% of the purchased XPGN (depending on your chosen Auto-Yield %).

  • In the farm: A PID-0 stake position credited to your address for the 1–3% portion.

  • No extra tokens to track: Your stake and rewards are shown directly in the Farms UI.

Safeguards & edge cases

  • Too small to stake: If the chosen % results in a dust amount that’s below the pool’s minimum, Auto-Yield is skipped and you receive 100% of the XPGN to your wallet.

  • Pool paused/unavailable: If PID-0 isn’t accepting deposits, Auto-Yield is skipped (you still receive 100% to wallet).

  • No impact on pricing: Auto-Yield is a post-swap split of the output. Your swap routing and price discovery are unaffected.

Example

You buy 1,000 XPGN with Auto-Yield = 2%:

  • 20 XPGN is staked into PID-0 (credited to your wallet’s farm position).

  • 980 XPGN is transferred to your wallet.

Fees & rewards (at a glance)

  • Trading fees: Same as a normal swap.

  • Staking: Standard PID-0 reward mechanics apply. Rewards accumulate and auto-compound in the pool.

  • Claiming: Unstake from Farms → PID-0 to receive XPGN.

Frequently asked questions

Does Auto-Yield change my swap price? No. It only splits the XPGN you receive after the swap.

Can I change or turn it off? Yes. Toggle it on/off and select 1–3% each time you swap.

Is there a lock? No. PID-0 has no lock. You can unstake anytime and receive XPGN.

Does this use stXPGN? No. Auto-Yield stakes to PID-0 (single-asset XPGN). It does not deposit into stXPGN.

What if the amount is tiny? If the amount to stake is too small, Auto-Yield is skipped and you receive 100% of the XPGN.

Where to manage your Auto-Yield stake

  • Go to Farms → PID-0 to see your current staked XPGN and unstake whenever you like.

TL;DR

Turn on Auto-Yield when buying XPGN to automatically stake 1–3% into PID-0. It’s a set-and-forget way to grow a compounding XPGN position—no IL, no lock, full control.
